Euro-Art history

Euro-Art is a family based company founded in 1973 by Raoul Schurmans and Lucienne Bergen. During the first years  Euro-Art was mainly focused on the traditional manufacture of wooden frames for artworks. To line with the innovative trends in the furniture and interior sector, the range was quickly expanded with framed posters, often in minimalistic aluminum frames.

Harry Schurmans, son of founder Raoul, joined the company in 1990, this was the start of a success story. Continually setting the technical standards of excellence Harry expanded the creative part of the business by creating exclusive collections of framed art prints and lithographs. The trendy HSD design collections could be found in design department of well known furniture stores. The collections of Euro-Art were successfully presented at national and international interior design exhibitions.

The traditional business of framed art continued to grow. After 15 years the core business of Euro-Art also expended to the sector of handmade paintings.

With an impressive range of styles and subjects, Euro-Art imports and exports paintings from all over the world. In the unique location we display our art collection in a beautiful ambiance. Our showroom in Herentals, Belgium is visited by interior shops, project designers and architects.
